Lasse Brodt, CEO of North Media, commented on the performance in 2024:
“In 2024, we focused completely on the implementation of our business strategies, and this affected our financial performance. As mentioned in Advertising No. 3 on March 7, 2025, North Media and EBIT revenues decreased from the latest directives for 2024, which included OFir, and led to revenues of 1,315-1340 m, EBITDA from DKK 140-160m and EBIT from DKK 65-85m. Based on the results of the year, the Board of Directors proposes to shareholders at the annual general meeting, which no profits are paid for 2024.
Performance according to the field of business in 2024
The Mile Last Mile business area (FK and SDR distribution) has reported the growth of revenue, which was positively affected by SDR, while the performance of the FK distribution was flat, driven by a smaller decrease than expected in the size of the printed material. The profits were affected by the costs of integration, increased costs of salary statements for Muslims, developing the new MINTILBUD technical platform in addition to deleting the value of SDR. By the end of the year, almost. 20 % of all Swedish families that receive the printed material in the automatic packing in Denmark have been included. The automated packing offer is still fully carried out in the second half of 2025.
Within the digital service business area, BuligPortal has achieved 4 % growth in revenue, driven by additional income currents in the Danish market. However, profits decreased as a result of increased costs related to the continuous development of one of the tenants and real estate owners. The performance in Bekey was unsatisfactory, and the company’s structure, business establishment and market approach are reviewed.
