trong> State Governor Mark Gordon signed eight bills in the law on Thursday.
Among those bills, Gordon signed the draft law of home 316 – School Financing -Calibration Form -2, Establishing a legislative committee and financing a study to review and update the Wyoming K-12 School Form.
The re -calibration, which is required by the Wyoming Supreme Court, ensures that financing education in the state meets the needs of students, schools and academic requirements. It is performed every five years, and this process uses research, expert inputs and legislative guidance to improve the financing model. The study funded by HB 316 will help define the necessary updates, and direct the school financing decisions of the Legislative Authority for the next seventy.

Gordon signed the following bills today:

- SF 86: An alternative teaching certificate.

- SF 34: School financing account and main maintenance accounts.
